Next year, the International Coordination for Anthroposophical Art Therapy will again arrange the International Working Days for Anthroposophical Art Therapy at the Goetheanum from 9-12 January 2020. This conference now takes place in the 22nd year, in the first week of January, and thus gives many art therapists worldwide an important impulse for their work in the year ahead.

In January 2019 the conference dealt with the topic "Fear and Stress", artistically at the moment BEING. Among other things, the focus was on the self-care of art therapists. In January 2020, hundreds (280 in January 2019) of art therapists from all over the world will be dealing with the topic of fear in its pathological form.

Starting with various possibilities of meditation and School of spiritual science study, speeches and deepening seminar groups, as well as intensive art therapy groups in the afternoon, will be dedicated to the interdisciplinary topic of fear in its pathological form over four days at the beginning of the year.

Experience has shown that there is a special atmosphere during this conference which can best be described with collegial warmth. The exchange among each other in the generously dimensioned breaks is just as important as the exchange in the working groups, the input by the speakers Dr. David Mac Gavin, Dr. med. Matthias Girke, Dr. med. Hartwig Volbehr, Rita Eckart, Georg Soldner as well as Annemarie Abbing and Anne Ponstein gives impulses from different directions and points of view. The various working groups offer activities from the fields of painting and sculpting as well as music and drama, and there is also room for creative play.
